Crooms Academy Panthers (Sanford, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders (Sanford, FL), 51-5 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crooms Academy upgrades its record to 1-11 on the season. The Panthers host First Academy (Leesburg, FL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-8. First Academy won 41-20 in their recent non-league bout against Orangewood Christian (Maitland, FL)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Lake Mary Prep Griffins (Lake Mary, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Holy Cross Lutheran Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 33-19 non-league loss to Sports Leadership & Management (Tampa, FL).
