The Dale County Warriors basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Slocomb Red Tops to 34 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ariton for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24.

The Red Tops (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Geneva (Geneva, AL). The Panthers enter the 4A Area 3 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Geneva was defeated by Holmes County (Bonifay, FL), 61-60, in a non-league contest.
