Iowa High School Basketball - Davenport Central knocked off by Davenport West

The Davenport West Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Davenport Central Blue Devils to 36 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Davenport West will battle a Grayhounds team coming off a 79-44 non-league loss to Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Grayhounds record now stands at 6-6.
The Blue Devils (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Lancers enter the Mississippi contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, North Scott was defeated by Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA), 57-52, in a non-league contest.
