Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) and the host J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), saw Deep Run's basketball team gain a win over J.R. Tucker by a score of 35-27.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeman for a Colonial contest on Friday, January 26. Deep Run will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 36-31 non-league win over Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-6.

The Tigers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA). The Vikings come into the Colonial contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Thomas Jefferson was defeated by Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA), 62-18, in a league contest.
