The Fulton Steamers basketball team (Fulton, IL), was overwhelmed 61-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL)

The Cougars now possess a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixon for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 24. Eastland will battle a Dukes & Duchesses team coming off a 62-18 league win over Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses record now stands at 16-5.

The Steamers (1-15) will now prepare for their battle against Forreston (Forreston, IL). The Cardinals come into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Forreston was overwhelmed by Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL), 42-33, in a league battle.
