In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI) basketball squad beat the host University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), by a margin of 46-32.

The (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI). The Gryphons go into the Catholic C-D D outing with a 3-7 record.

The Knights now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cranbrook Kingswood for a Catholic Intersectional I outing on Monday, January 29. University Liggett will clash with a Cranes squad coming off a 49-40 league win over Richard (Riverview, MI). The Cranes record now stands at 7-3.
