Montana High School Basketball - Malta can't hold off Fergus

The Fergus Golden Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Malta Mustangs to 34 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roy/Winifred for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Fergus will battle a Outlaws team coming off a 57-48 league win over Stanford/Geyser/Denton (Stanford, MT). The Outlaws record now stands at 8-4.
With the defeat, Malta moves to 6-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Roy/Winifred (Winifred, MT) to meet the Outlaws in a non-league match on Thursday, January 25. The Outlaws enter the match with a record of 8-4.
