In Tuesday's league outing, the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX), by a margin of 61-24.

The Yellowjackets (12-15) will now prepare for their outing against Venus (Venus, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region II District 10 outing with a 10-21 record.

The Mustangs now own a 6-18 record. They play next when they travel to Venus for a 4A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 26. Life Waxahachie will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-25 league loss to Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-21.
