West Virginia High School Basketball - Frankfort knocked off by Petersburg

The Petersburg Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Frankfort Falcons to 53 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pendleton County for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Petersburg will battle a Wildcat team coming off a 52-40 league win over Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Wildcat record now stands at 6-8.
The Falcons (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado enter the Appalachian Mountain contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Keyser ran past Northern (Accident, MD), 59-35, in a non-league contest.
