With the victory, Mortimer Jordan upgrades its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL) to play the Cougars in a 6A Area 12 bout on Friday, January 26. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 22-2. Clay-Chalkville won 50-26 in their recent league bout against Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL)

Next up, the Rockets play the Center Point Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a 6A Area 11 bout, on Friday, January 26. Gardendale will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 77-23 league loss to Huffman (Birmingham, AL).
