With the victory, Gateway Christian upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Floyd (Floyd, NM) to play the Broncos in a A District 4 bout on Friday, January 26. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 2-11. Floyd won 28-24 in their recent non-league bout against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM)

Next up, the Colts play the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. New Mexico Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 55-14 league loss to Tatum (Tatum, NM).
