Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) and the visiting Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), saw Johnson County's basketball squad knock off Glascock County by a count of 49-37.

With the victory, Johnson County upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA) to play the Warriors in a A D2 Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Wilkinson County won 37-31 in their recent league challenge against Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Glascock County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
