The Eagles now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Capitan for a Grossmont - Hills battle on Friday, January 26. Granite Hills will confront a Vaqueros team coming off a 54-35 league win over Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 14-9.

The Foothillers (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders come into the Grossmont - Hills battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Helix edged Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 76-28, in a league battle.
