Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), saw Northern Guilford's basketball squad wallop Grimsley by a count of 76-41.

With the victory, Northern Guilford upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to play the Tigers in a 4A Metro challenge on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Ragsdale lost 64-63 in their recent league challenge against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Whirlies play the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Metro challenge, on Friday, January 26. Grimsley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 57-48 league win over Page (Greensboro, NC).
