In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), by a count of 55-23.

The Highlanders (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, Ramapo smashed Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ), 44-29, in a non-league outing.

The Comets now hold a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Passaic County Tech for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 25. Hackensack will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-39 league loss to Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.
