In Tuesday's league outing, the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) basketball squad felled the visiting Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS), by a margin of 48-33.
The Hawks (21-1) will now prepare for their outing against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Bearcats go into the 6A Region 4 outing with a 8-13 record. In their last outing, Long Beach was beaten by Picayune (Picayune, MS), 32-27, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host West Harrison for a 6A Region 4 outing on Friday, January 26. Pascagoula will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 72-37 league win over George County (Lucedale, MS). The Hurricanes record now stands at 12-10.
