The Happy Cowboys basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Lazbuddie Longhorns to 38 in the Cowboys league victory on Tuesday.
The Cowboys now sport a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hart for a 1A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, January 26. Happy will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 66-8 league loss to Nazareth (Nazareth, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 11-10.
The Longhorns (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kress (Kress, TX). The Kangaroos come into the 1A Region I District 4 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Kress was defeated by Springlake-Earth (Earth, TX), 64-44, in a league contest.
