The Hart Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Shelby Tigers to 36 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holland Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Hart will battle a Maroons team coming off a 56-44 league win over Allendale (Allendale, MI). The Maroons record now stands at 9-3.

The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ravenna (Ravenna, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Western Michigan - Other contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Ravenna was defeated by Holton (Holton, MI), 28-16, in a non-league contest.
