With the win, Hawkins upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to McLeod (McLeod, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a 2A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, January 26. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 12-15. McLeod won 47-45 in their recent league bout against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 bout, on Friday, January 26. Union Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 21-5 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 0-18 record after their 39-16 league loss to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX).
