Portageville Bulldogs (Portageville, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hayti Indians (Hayti, MO), 80-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Portageville upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Kennett (Kennett, MO) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Kennett lost 75-51 in their recent league bout against Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO)

Next up, the Indians play the Lesterville Bearcats (Lesterville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Hayti will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
