Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO), 51-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Helias upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Crusaders host Northeast (Cairo, MO) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Northeast lost 67-57 in their recent non-league bout against South Shelby (Shelbina, MO)

Next up, the Kewpies clash with the Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO) in a Freelance bout, on Thursday, January 25. Hickman will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO).
