Arizona High School Basketball - Highland Prep edges Phoenix Christian

The Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ), 41-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Honey Badgers (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ). The Wolves go into the 2A Central test with a 0-4 record.

The Cougars now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host St. John Paul II Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 24. Phoenix Christian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 46-28 league win over Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 8-5.
