Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), 45-13 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Chatham (Chatham, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Chatham won 57-47 in their recent non-league bout against Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ)

Next up, the Comets play the Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ) in a Union County - Valley bout, on Thursday, January 25. Hillside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 46-36 non-league loss to Johnson (Clark, NJ).
