Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Providence Classical (Rock Hill, SC), 63-6 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jackson Day upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Mariners travel to Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Knights in a Metro Area bout on Friday, January 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Lee Park Prep won 56-36 in their recent league bout against Fletcher (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the clash with the Liberty Preparatory Christian Patriots (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Providence Classical will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 38-18 non-league loss to Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC).
