The New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots (Grant, AL), 54-28 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Brindlee Mountain was trounced by Brewer (Somerville, AL), 51-41, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they host North Jackson for a 4A Area 14 test on Friday, January 26. Kate Duncan Smith DAR will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 66-46 non-league loss to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-10.
