North Carolina High School Basketball - Kinston can't hold off North Lenoir

The North Lenoir Hawks basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Kinston Vikings to 46 in the Hawks league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Onslow for a 2A East Central contest on Tuesday, January 30. North Lenoir will battle a Stallions team coming off a 55-30 league win over Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 16-0.
The Vikings (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils come into the 2A East Central contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, South Lenoir edged North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC), 29-24, in a league contest.
