Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting University Trojans (Waco, TX), 66-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Belton upgrades its record to 19-11 on the season. The Broncos travel to Waco (Waco, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Waco won 49-32 in their recent league bout against Killeen (Killeen, TX)

Next up, the Trojans play the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, January 26. University will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-26 record after their 54-26 league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX).
