Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 43-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Lakeland upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Eagles host Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI) to play the Warriors in a Lakes Valley bout on Friday, January 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Knights play the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Friday, January 26. Walled Lake Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 54-24 league loss to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI).
