The Lakeside Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Newport Grizzlies to 3 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Park for a 1A Northeast contest on Friday, January 26. Lakeside will battle a Stags team coming off a 56-39 league win over Freeman (Rockford, WA). The Stags record now stands at 17-0.
The Grizzlies (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Priest River (Priest River, ID). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Priest River was routed by Grangeville (Grangeville, ID), 73-22, in a league contest.
