The Lee Ganders basketball team (Baytown, TX), dropped 54-37 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX)
The Rangers now possess a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Arthur Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 battle on Friday, January 26. Sterling will battle a Titans team coming off a 38-31 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Titans record now stands at 11-12.
The Ganders (5-22) will now prepare for their battle against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX). The Indians come into the 5A Region III District 17 battle with a 11-21 record. In their last battle, Port Neches-Groves dropped by Crosby (Crosby, TX), 66-23, in a league battle.
