The Rio Rancho Rams ran past the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers basketball team by a final score of 47-38 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Rams face the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 1 game, on Thursday, January 25. Rio Rancho will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 5-11 record after their 49-45 league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM).
With the defeat, Los Alamos moves to 9-8 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to face the Pintos in a 4A District 2 game on Thursday, January 25. The Pintos enter the game with a record of 4-13. Moriarty lost 55-20 in their recent non-league game against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM)
