Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 69-8 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lumpkin County upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Indians host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to play the Bobcats in a AAA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 26. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 7-11. Gilmer lost 61-38 in their recent league bout against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA)

Next up, the Spartans play the White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 26. West Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 80-43 league loss to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA).
