The Smithville Tigers basketball team scored 91 points and held the visiting Manor New Tech to 17 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Giddings for a 4A Region III District 22 contest on Friday, January 26. Smithville will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 73-11 league win over Austin Achieve (Austin, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 10-16.
The (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Austin Achieve (Austin, TX). The Polar Bears enter the 4A Region III District 22 contest with a 2-18 record. In their last contest, Austin Achieve was routed by Giddings (Giddings, TX), 73-11, in a league contest.
