Manton Rangers (Manton, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI), 45-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Manton upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Rangers host Evart (Evart, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Highland bout on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Evart lost 51-31 in their recent league bout against Lake City (Lake City, MI)

Next up, the Ramblers play the Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Highland bout, on Thursday, January 25. McBain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Aggies come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 46-21 league win over Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI).
