The Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY), 59-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY). The Eagles go into the District 20 test with a 5-8 record.
The Commanders now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Nelson for a District 19 test on Friday, January 26. Washington County will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 52-42 non-league win over Seneca (Louisville, KY). The Generals record now stands at 9-9.
