West Virginia High School Basketball - Sherman topped by Meadow Bridge

January 23, 2024: Meadow Bridge, WV 25976

The Meadow Bridge Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Sherman Tide to 37 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montcalm for a Coalfield A contest on Thursday, January 25. Meadow Bridge will battle a Generals team coming off a 65-11 league loss to James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Generals record now stands at 2-8.

The Tide (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Pocahontas County was defeated by Summers County (Hinton, WV), 51-47, in a non-league contest.
