The Menendez Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Palatka Panthers to 33 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Menendez will battle a Generals team coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to Nease (Ponte Vedra, FL). The Generals record now stands at 5-8.
The Panthers (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Conquerors enter the non-league contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian Academy was routed by Providence School (Jacksonville, FL), 69-17, in a non-league contest.
