The Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME), 35-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME). The Tigers go into the A North test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Gardiner was tipped by Lawrence (Fairfield, ME), 71-63, in a league test.
