The Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Milton Hershey Spartans (Hershey, PA), 50-44 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA). The Colts go into the Mid-Penn - Keystone test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Cedar Cliff got by Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA), 42-40, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Red Land for a Mid-Penn - Keystone test on Friday, January 26. Milton Hershey will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 39-32 league win over Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-8.
