Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA), 60-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nandua upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA) to play the Ponies in a Eastern Shore bout on Thursday, January 25. The Ponies come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Chincoteague won 43-32 in their recent league bout against Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a Eastern Shore bout, on Thursday, January 25. Northampton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Firebirds come into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 50-22 non-league win over Salisbury (Salisbury, MD).
