The Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), 53-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Raiders (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Searcy (Searcy, AR). The Lions go into the 5A East test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Searcy notched a victory over Batesville (Batesville, AR), 55-45, in a league test.
The Blazers now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Marion for a 5A East test on Friday, January 26. Valley View will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 46-45 league loss to Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Patriots record now stands at 11-9.
