California High School Basketball - Nevada Union trounced by Ponderosa

The Ponderosa Bruins routed the host Nevada Union Miners basketball team by a final score of 80-42 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a Foothill Valley game, on Thursday, January 25. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 16-7 season record. The Hillmen enter the game with a 13-9 record after their 55-31 league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA).

With the defeat, Nevada Union moves to 7-11 on the year. The Miners host Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to face the Fighting Zebras in a Foothill Valley game on Thursday, January 25. The Fighting Zebras enter the game with a record of 18-3. Lincoln won 67-53 in their recent league game against West Park (Roseville, CA)
