In Tuesday's league outing, the North Stars (Bakersfield, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA), by a count of 57-29.
The Stars (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against West (Bakersfield, CA). The Vikings go into the South Yosemite - Mountain outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, West smashed East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA), 52-38, in a league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Tehachapi for a South Yosemite - Mountain outing on Thursday, January 25. South will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 63-28 non-league win over Arvin (Arvin, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 19-2.
