West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), 43-38 in a league bout.

With the win, West Harrison upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Hawkeyes host Whiting (Whiting, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Whiting lost 56-18 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE)

Next up, the Rockets play the Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Paton-Churdan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 62-29 league loss to Panorama (Panora, IA).
