The St. Patrick Fighting Irish basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Perry Central Bulldogs to 36 in the Fighting Irish league victory on Tuesday.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tylertown for a 3A Region 8 contest on Friday, January 26. St. Patrick will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 45-8 league win over Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 12-2.

The Bulldogs (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Crescents come into the 3A Region 8 contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Our Lady Academy was defeated by Tylertown (Tylertown, MS), 45-8, in a league contest.
