The Piedmont Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Saks Wildcats to 32 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sand Rock for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Piedmont will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 73-42 league win over Fyffe (Fyffe, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-7.

The Wildcats (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Weaver (Weaver, AL). The Bearcats enter the 3A Area 11 contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Weaver was routed by Wellborn (Anniston, AL), 51-36, in a league contest.
