The Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Pine Tree Academy Breakers (Freeport, ME), 42-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hawks (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Richmond (Richmond, ME). The Bobcats go into the C South test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Richmond notched a victory over Buckfield (Buckfield, ME), 49-22, in a league test.

The Breakers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Vinalhaven for a D South test on Thursday, January 25. Pine Tree Academy will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 44-31 league loss to Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 2-7.
