The Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), 40-24 in Tuesday's league test.

The Huskies (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Woodgrove notched a victory over Broad Run (Ashburn, VA), 76-50, in a league test.

The Phoenix now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Loudoun County for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 24. Rock Ridge will encounter a Captains squad coming off a 50-46 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Captains record now stands at 1-12.
