The Salina Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Sequoyah Eagles to 34 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adair for a Five Lakes contest on Friday, January 26. Salina will battle a Warriors team coming off a 50-39 non-league loss to Inola (Inola, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 12-4.
The Eagles (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Kansas (Kansas, OK). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Kansas dropped by Vinita (Vinita, OK), 41-30, in a non-league contest.
