In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) basketball squad edged the host Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM), by a count of 29-27.
The Hawks (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Mayfield held off Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM), 51-50, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league outing on Friday, January 26.
